Syfy Teams Up With MCM Expo
Syfy has been confirmed as a major sponsor of this month’s London MCM Expo, held at Excel on 29-31 October, show organisers have announced.
Syfy is to sponsor the 1,000-seat MCM Expo Theatre and the main show walkways, while cast and crew panels for hit SyFy shows A Town Called Eureka, Warehouse 13 and Haven will also be hosted in association with the popular television channel.
“It is a great pleasure to be sponsoring and to be associated with MCM Expo.” said Jamie Morris, UK Director of Channels, Universal Networks International. “This allows us to bring our channel to life for the fans over the weekend, and also give them the chance to experience a number of our shows first hand by meeting their heroes who star in them.”
A Town Called Eureka returns to Syfy for a spectacular fourth season, and stars Colin Ferguson (Jack Carter); Erica Cerra (Jo Lupo) and Jaime Ray Newman (Dr. Tess Fontana) are coming along to the MCM Expo to give fans an insight into where the series is headed.*
Stars Eddie McClintock (Pete Lattimer), Joanne Kelly (Myka Bering) and Saul Rubinek (Artie Nielsen), along with executive producer Jack Kenny, will be hosting panels on Saturday and Sunday to let fans know what’s in store for Warehouse 13’s intriguing second season.*
Brand new Syfy series Haven hits the small screen this month, and co-star Lucas Bryant (Nathan Wournos) and executive producer Shawn Piller are coming along to the MCM Expo to answer questions.*
In addition, the Syfy channel will have a stand at the London MCM Expo to raise awareness of their upcoming programmes and recent rebranding.

London MCM Expo organisers are delighted to announce that Peter F. Hamilton, one of the finest British sci-fi authors writing today, will be a special guest at the London’s biggest entertainment weekend held at Excel London later this month. Hamilton will be hosting a panel to discuss his work and answer audience questions, and he will also be signing books for his fans.
Hamilton’s latest novel, The Evolutionary Void, concludes the highly-acclaimed Void Trilogy that has unfolded in the top 10 bestselling earlier volumes, The Dreaming Void and The Temporal Void.
Noted for combining epic scale space opera with startling perspectives on tomorrow’s technological and cultural trends, Hamilton’s previous books include the Greg Mandel Series, the groundbreaking Night’s Dawn Trilogy series and the galaxy-spanning Commonwealth Saga, which is set in the same world as the Void Trilogy but thousands of years earlier.
