UK Zombie mob 4



A week later than planned, but Zombie Mob 4 is now available from our website. These eight miniatures come in our now-famous (or infamous) mock video case, and bring our total up to 33 different zombie minis.
Zombie Horde 2 will be out in September, and with another 22 zombies out before Christmas, we think you zombie buffs should be kept busy enough.

Event - De Quaeye Werelt (2026)

Lang geleden dat er nog een publiek genre-evenement werd gedaan.  Ben druk bezig geweest aan nieuwe webpagina's voor Deep Red Noise vzw en Red Cathedral en tegelijk volop plannen aan het uitwerken voor een niche winkelproject genaamd House of the Red Merlin . Wat voor soort winkel zou dat kunnen worden? Wel, als er zich nog investeerders aanbieden om de laatste 10% van het oprichtingsbedrag ( stock is helaas duurder geworden in alle branche s) aan te vullen, dan zou het er snel kunnen komen. Toch even het hoofd buiten gestoken - tussen de regenbuien door - voor een reënactors kampement dat me al jaren nauw aan het hart ligt: De Quaeye Werelt 1477 in het Antwerpse Rivierenhof. 1477 was een belangrijk jaar voor België en de Bourgondische Nederlanden. Na de dood van hertog Karel de Stoute, ook bekend als  Charles Le Téméraire,  in de slag bij Nancy, erfde zijn dochter Maria van Bourgondië het hertogdom. It was during a warm November month in the Osaka -region that I finally started appreciating Autumn and the warmth of it's colours .  This year the extreme drought is giving September the first hint of those same colours. A perfect opportunity to visit the famous Japanese garden of Hasselt and reminisce about those days in Nara with the deer strolling through the parks and streets.. except in Hasselt it weren't deer posing for the cameras but cosplayers.  Yes; this was my weekend number 5 in a row with a costume event. Collab - Verbeke Cosplay Day (2026)

Allow me to sum up a few ingredients that make several ( outdoors ) costume events very enjoyable: No rain + casual strolls through a gorgeous location + drinks with nice people + casually making a photo of a splendid or funny or catchy constume + decent food + things to do/see + musical (re)discoveries + some more wine, whisky, or mead. The annual cosplay day at the Verbeke Foundation , one of the strangest ( yet fascinating ) musea in Belgium, had yet again many of those ingredients in its recipe. The life & death of costumes

Veel mensen lijden een grijs bestaan. Ze zijn kleurloos, onopvallend en komen nooit dichter bij het beleven van hun fantasie dan onderuitgezakt met een zak chips naar Temptation Island staren. Er bestaan echter ook groepen mensen die proberen te ontsnappen aan die alledaagse grijsheid van het bestaan en die de kleuren, actie en Schwung van het fantasiebestaan proberen te integreren in de " echte " wereld. Dit zijn de mensen die je soms in kostuums kan zien rondlopen tijdens reënactment, larp en cosplay. Het begint meer en meer een trend te worden, ook in ons eigen Belgenland. Aztek-TV zal in de volgende maanden dan ook verschillende reportages wijden aan deze buitenbeentjes. Event - Fantasyfest Rijswijk (2026)

Let me be clear about something: Fantasy Fest is a fantasy themed indoor market featuring some amazing concerts. And the concerts were exactely the reason for travelling on a Saturday to Rijswijk:  Kelten Zonder Grenzen at the opening and Ye Banished Privateers after closing. Just perfect! Obviously there was time in between for a grand tour to visit the neverending rows of stalls ( saying hi to vendors & artists! ), for some mead & for a break to play a TTRPG-demo at Dutch20 . Roleplaying as cats was a nice experience thanks to the DM. Photographing cosplayers? Nah , only a handful. Once you've been there, you know about the lighting situation in De Broodfabriek, eventhough the lights on the stalls are a pretty sight, the rest is Deep Darkness . FACTS Convention - ICC Gent

F antasy A nime C omics T oys S pace Wie had kunnen verwachten dat dit eenvoudige letterwoord dat in 1993 welgeteld 40 bezoekers lokte naar een miniconventie boven een Gents café over de jaren zou uitgroeien tot het grootste evenement van de Benelux in zijn soort? En toch zakken de fans van Manga, Star Trek, LoTR, Star Wars, Aliens & Stargate vanuit de ganse Benelux, Frankrijk, Duitsland en de UK jaarlijks naar Gent af. Geen genrefan die eens op FACTS is geweest wil het daarna nog missen. De fanclubs (zoals 501st , FanWars , Elanor , Rebel Legion ) hebben er een sport van gemaakt om steeds indrukwekkendere props, decors, kostuums en shows op het publiek los te laten. Net zoals het bezoekersaantal groeide, zag de organisatie tevens het aantal handelaars op de conventie in zulke mate stijgen dat een extra ICC-zaal werd aangeslagen. Dat gaf ineens de kans om de videogamecorner uit te breiden en de gamedemotafels naar een rustig hoekje te verhuizen. Wat ons betreft mag de oppervla...
