Mega Man Star Force returns, delivering a totally new and cutting- edge portable RPG adventure that is brought to life in the iconic, action-driven Mega Man way! Mega Man Star Force™ 2 will be available in two versions, Zerker X Ninja and Zerker X Saurian, with players able to choose between the three characters of Zerker, Ninja or Saurian depending on which version they choose.


Developed by the team behind the popular Mega Man Battle Network™ series, Mega Man Star Force™ 2 continues two months after the previous game left off. Geo Stelar and crew return to battle a whole host of UMA’s (unidentified animated beings) and new rival character called Rogue. When a mysterious organisation plans to revive the ancient civilization of Mu by unleashing the sinister force of the ancient OOPArt, it’s up to Geo and his virus-busting buddy, Omega-Xis, to thwart this latest threat.


Mega Man Star Force™ 2 blends a unique formula of RPG exploration elements with fast-paced action as players travel and battle between coexisting worlds, the physical world and the virtual Wave World to unravel the mystery around this new trouble maker. Players will encounter enemies in the virtual Wave World and battle them on three-by-five grids with their Battle Card deck. Mega Man Star Force™ 2 also features an upgraded “Transer” system.


Features:

• Two co-existing worlds – explore the real world in human form and transform into Mega Man to maneuver through the virtual “Wave World”.

• Each version of the game offers its own Mega Man™ transformations with unique elemental powers and spectacular special attacks. Zerker wields a large sword imbued with the power of lightning, Ninja boosts Mega Man’s speed and enables him to throw a huge Shurikan and Saurian is able to reduce enemies to smoldering pieces with the power of his explosive fiery fists.

• Each character has their own customizable Personal Page in the game where Battle cards and information can be viewed and traded with friends to compare progress.

• Nintendo Wi-Fi connection and the wireless LAN allows players to connect with in-game friends regardless of their location and add new friends to their network to create a “Brother Band” network where they can share cards, status upgrades and even help each other to perform upgraded transformations.

Collab - Verbeke Foundation cosplay day 2024

A few weeks ahead of the first cosplay shoot day of 2024 in the Verbeke Foundation I had wisely estimated that I would run into & make pictures of 10% of all cosplayers. That was a gross misestimation.. I think it's closer to 5%. Every edition organizer Geert seems to double the number of participants. I still don't know how he manages, but kudos for gathering somewhere around 240 participants. Event - Elftopia 2021

The 1st costume event in.. nearly 2 years? You can't believe the ecstasy of opening those tickets in the mail, getting that CovidSafePass in time and hearing that it would not get cancelled as feared ( unlike Castlefest ). Preparing the cameras. Getting ideas for shots. Actually smiling. Thank you Elftopia . However there was a little hick-up. I could blame it on traffic jams making us arrive extremely late.. but it wasn't that. It was exactly as feared and predicted in this post : I didn't dare to make photos. Have I gotten scared of walking up to people for a picture? Have I lost so much self-confidence? Did I stop trusting my technical instincts? Did I start doubting my gear? Haven't I talked to live strangers for that long? Is this what people call a panic attack or anxiety? I guess a bit of all of those. Meade helped a bit. Japan, het is een wereld die we als Westerlingen nooit zullen vatten. We lezen massaal de manga’s en de hentai. We kijken naar de anime. We worden overweldigd door de films die zich wentelen in extreem geweld, ongrijpbare horror en magistrale, epische schoonheid. Takashi Miike, Hideo Nakata en Akira Kurosawa. Event - Internationale carnavalsstoet Hasselt

Yes, I know: I had promised to cover only one carnaval's parade per year. But I have a great excuse: a brandnew camera fell into my lap to experiment with and I needed an event for testing. So no, it was neither the free booze, nor the happy people, nor the smoutebollen that lured me to Hasselt.. those are simply perks of working . Just to be clear: that Sony A9III is a magnificent camera with crazy specs. I will probably consider buying the 2nd or 3rd generation of its Global Shutter sensor technology, but for now it's great but not needed for what I shoot. Sports and wildlife shooters are the intended targets and they'll enjoy it greatly.  Hasselt carnaval has a very enjoyable parade wth several international participants & loads of confetti. The 2024 parcours had some very long, straight streets.. perfect to test a huge 300mm f2.8-lens. Thes most excillerating was however something tiny & strictly personal: I really felt good that day and jumped right

Body-Art Festival

In een klein dorpje nabij Mechelen verzamelen zich sinds 2000 ieder jaar opnieuw een keur aan bodypaint- en make-upartiesten voor de laatste grote Europese wedstrijd van het jaar: de felbegeerde Body Artist Award. Op 12 november kan het publiek deze levende kunstwerken bewonderen tijdens het ganse scheppingsproces, zichzelf laten grimeren, deelnemen aan workshops en de mooiste bodypaints vastleggen op de gevoelige plaat. Eigenlijk zijn er zo 4 titels om te verdelen: één voor de mooiste airbrush, één voor het beste spons & penseelwerk, één in de categorie special effects en een laatste voor de mooiste festivalfoto. In elke discipline mogen amateurs, studenten en (semi) pro's zich met elkaar meten. Wees er dus tijdig bij, alvorens deze creaties voor altijd verdwijnen onder een warme douche. The life & death of costumes

Veel mensen lijden een grijs bestaan. Ze zijn kleurloos, onopvallend en komen nooit dichter bij het beleven van hun fantasie dan onderuitgezakt met een zak chips naar Temptation Island staren. Er bestaan echter ook groepen mensen die proberen te ontsnappen aan die alledaagse grijsheid van het bestaan en die de kleuren, actie en Schwung van het fantasiebestaan proberen te integreren in de " echte " wereld. Dit zijn de mensen die je soms in kostuums kan zien rondlopen tijdens reënactment, larp en cosplay. Het begint meer en meer een trend te worden, ook in ons eigen Belgenland. Aztek-TV zal in de volgende maanden dan ook verschillende reportages wijden aan deze buitenbeentjes. Maar laat ons eerst enkele definities voorstellen die een onderscheid maken tussen de essentie van larp, cosplay en reënactment:    Larp: De nadruk ligt op het consequent invullen van een rol.
