WARNER BROS. INTERACTIVE ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES LEGEND OF THE GUARDIANS: THE OWLS OF GA'HOOLE - THE VIDEOGAME
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announces that Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole - The Videogame will be available on the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Wii™ and Nintendo DS™ in September 2010 in conjunction with the release of Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole. The highly anticipated 3D fantasy family adventure film is from Warner Bros. Pictures in association with Village Roadshow Pictures, and will be released on October 15.
The game invites kids and fans of the film and the popular Guardians of Ga’Hoole book series to join an unlikely band of heroes as they take on the role of a Guardian, a winged warrior and protector of the owl world, in an epic story of good versus evil. Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole - The Videogame allows players to customise and control their owl on a thrilling journey across mythic terrains.

Based on the film directed by Zack Snyder and the bestselling book series by author Kathryn Lasky, Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole - The Videogame is being developed for Wii™, PlayStation®3 and Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft by Krome Studios and for Nintendo DS™ by Tantalus Media.

“Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole” from a screenplay by Emil Stern and John Orloff, based on the Guardians of Ga’Hoole novels by Kathryn Lasky. The film is being produced by Zareh Nalbandian, with Donald De Line, Deborah Snyder, Lionel Wigram, Chris DeFaria, Kathryn Lasky and Bruce Berman serving as executive producers. “Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole” features the voices of Emily Barclay, Abbie Cornish, Emilie de Ravin, Deborra-Lee Furness, Ryan Kwanten, Miriam Margolyes, Helen Mirren, Sam Neill, Geoffrey Rush, Jim Sturgess, Hugo Weaving and David Wenham. The film opens nationwide in theatres and IMAX on September 24, 2010. It will be presented in 3D and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.
