Scorpions & Imps from Pardulon

Pardulon hs added some new miniatures to their line-up:





First, there are two extremely realistic scorpions. With a height of 4 cm and an overall length of 9 cm for the one version and 7.5 cm for the second, it could be used as a giant scorpion in most miniature scales.



On the more playful side, we have added a set of five grumpy imps. Slightly indecent, these thumbnail-sized creatures are apt to cause annoyance wherever they go.

It was during a warm November month in the Osaka -region that I finally started appreciating Autumn and the warmth of it's colours .  This year the extreme drought is giving September the first hint of those same colours. A perfect opportunity to visit the famous Japanese garden of Hasselt and reminisce about those days in Nara with the deer strolling through the parks and streets.. except in Hasselt it weren't deer posing for the cameras but cosplayers.  Yes; this was my weekend number 5 in a row with a costume event. Event - Carnavalstoet Tongeren (2026)

Carnaval in Tongeren valt precies altijd samen met dat in Aalst , het grootste carnavalsfeest van het land, en beide vallen ( de afgelopen jaren ) erg vroeg in het carnavalsseizoen.. zodoende dan kan het al eens gebeuren dat er februarisneeuw valt Voor mij was dit echter de 1e sneeuweditie . Sneeuweditie is misschien een groot woord, de echte sneeuwval begon pas tegen dat de laatste paar praalwagens mijn plekje hadden bereikt, maar voor wie ( vee l) verder op het parkoers stond, zal een een groot deel van de stoet tussen de witte vlokken zijn verlopen. In Nederlands Limburg werden stoeten ingekort, stortten feesttenten in en reden praalwagens zich vast in de sneeuw, maar zo'n vaart liep het hier niet.  Al zijn koude en kans op een gevaarlijk glad, ondergesneeuwd wegdek niet de beste vrienden van lang blijven hangen en flink doorzakken . How do you create this feeling and what sort of techniques are used to provoke this sense of mystery? The story-telling in THEY doesn’t influence the fast paced action of a FPS game – it has dynamic battles, a living environment and those bad creatures you have to kill. But the story has some issues common with plots of mystery movies! Event - Castlefest (2025)

There was an anomaly in the time-space continuum during Castlefest . We arrived -on Sunday- earlier than usual. Didn't do anything unusual. Only danced to the concert of SeeD. Drank less mead than normal. Yet still we did not manage to see the entire fair in a day. So the fabric of time must have torn or folded in some strange way, causing it to slip uncontrollably through our fingers. Even stranger: it only started raining at the moment we reached the car. That's simply uncanny!  What witchcraft have you used Castlefestians? Teach me ! My only witchcraft comes out of some soulsnatching boxes dangling by my sides.  And if you want to see the results you'll have to be patient.
