Greed Corp
Greed Corp - Battle is rejoined!
The award winning turn-based strategy game comes to Steam, better than ever
AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS – 2nd December 2010 – W!Games, part of the Vanguard Entertainment Group, are proud to announce that their innovative, multiple award winning turn-based strategy game Greed Corp, will be released on Steam on 10th December priced at £7.99/€9.99.
Released earlier in 2010 on Xbox LIVE® Arcade and PlayStation®Network to widespread critical acclaim, Greed Corp now arrives on Steam with significant improvements over the console version including an overhauled tutorial, a better balanced campaign, and sped up game AI.
The first in a series of games based in the rich Mistbound Universe, Greed Corp is set in a world of feudal warfare and environmental destruction through industrial consumption. As one of four warring factions your aim is territorial domination, but at what cost? Can you find the delicate balance between harvesting the land for resources and preserving it to stay alive? Will you defend your territory or sacrifice it to keep it out of enemy hands?
Featuring an innovative land collapsing mechanic which constantly alters the strategic landscape, you must destroy your enemies or the very land they stand on before they do it to you. Build Harvesters to reap your land for credits and spend them on armouries and cannons. Manufacture walkers to conquer enemy territory and order carriers to transport your troops across the map. Ultimately, defeat your enemies by eliminating their troops and destroying or capturing their structures.
Key New Features
• Tutorial – completely overhauled to now convey the mechanics, strategies, consequences and overall gameplay nuances required to be successful

The time per turn allowed for each faction is now different beginning with unlimited time in the Freemen campaign, the first campaign played. About ‘Mistbound’
A beautiful world, divided by greed...
Mistbound is the name of the original IP developed by W!Games. This rich fictional world was created as a platform for the studio's multi-format downloadable games and other media. Greed Corp is the first in a series of games situated in this universe. Inspired by the industrial revolutions of the 19th century and its subsequent destructive effects on the environment, Mistbound tells stories of a beautiful world once rich in resources and now on the brink of collapse. Automated industry has brought great material wealth, but relentless harvesting and mining has forever altered the world and its inhabitants. The last unspoiled lands are at stake in new conflicts between four factions, while the stripped and barren earth around them slowly succumbs to a thick mist that creeps ever closer...
