Azteekse shamaan in Loki
After the release of the bone-crushing video featuring the Norse Warrior, 93 Games, Ascaron and Cyanide are pleased to present the final gameplay trailer for Loki, their upcoming action-RPG. For those who prefer invocation rather than decapitation, or incinerating enemies instead of mincing them, this new video is for you, as it introduces the game’s mystical characters - the Egyptian Sorcerer and the Aztec Shaman.
Though they are less effective in melee combat than the Norse Warrior or the Greek Fighter, these two characters are still quite powerful, especially when it comes to their magical abilities. Watch the new video and discover how truly powerful these spell-casters can be when faced with an onslaught of enemies.

The 4 races:
Far North
The Norse chapter takes place in a period of great chaos. Ragnarok, the great battle at the end of the world is drawing nigh, but the gods are scattered. Odin, the supreme Norse deity, has disappeared. Seth has allied himself with Hel, daughter of Loki and goddess of the Underworld, and their combined armies are sweeping through the Norse villages. The hero steps forth to save the Norse world, but before that end can be attained he must overcome savage monsters such as the wolf Fenrir, the serpent Jormungand or the dragon Fafnir.
Aztec World
Seth takes advantage of the Spanish incursion into Central America to bring ruin to the Aztec empire and its gods. He helps the conquistador, Cortes, but the hero is aided by the god Quetzalcoatl and must sink the Spanish galleons and defend the Aztec capital, Tenochtitlan. Many dangers lie on the route: jaguars, preying mantids, native cannibal tribes, giant spiders... The final hope lies with Mictlantecuhtli, god of the dead, who must be persuaded to carry out a secret ritual in order to save the Aztec civilisation.
Ancient Greece
The Greek chapter starts on Crete, the island ruled by King Minos. The world is buffeted by the infighting between the gods, but mankind seeks solace in the exploits of heroes such as Achilles and Ulysses. The hero must emulate these great men while accomplishing quest after quest at the behest of the goddess Athena. Not only does this mean a role in the downfall of Troy, but it also means destroying great mythological creatures such as Medusa, the Minotaur, the centaurs and the Cyclops. The chapter comes to a close when Hades, god of the Underworld and ally of Seth, is finally overcome.
Ancient Egypt
In Egypt the hero’s steps are guided by the goddess Isis. She will request help in gathering the parts of her husband – Osiris' body was dismembered by Seth. Many temples and tombs must be explored and many enemies, including mummies, the Sphinx, and the heretic pharaoh Akhenaton. The end of the road lies in the Valley of the Kings, where the hero must enter the pyramid of the jackal-headed god Anubis and bring Osiris back to life.
