How to make adult get in back in touch with their inner 5 year old?
Easy: you show them dinosaurs!
Before leaving for France we made a stop in Middelkerke (Belgian coast) to visit the annual festival for sand sculptures. This edition is inspired by the last Jurassic World-movie and really unleashes the kid inside every dino-loving adult.
First of all: it isn't the biggest edition ever, however it's worth every penny of the entrance fee. Artistry & emotion are in every detail of the lifelike and often pretty big dioramas. It's not just impressive fights, but also cute prehistoric family scenes cut out of mountains of sand.. because often we would simply forget that everything is made out of nothing else but sand. Just check out all those details. Impressive!
