Before you whimper and whine because you couldn't party on New Year’s Eve or celebrate it with friends & family: think of all the elderly, the poor, the sick, the homeless and the disabled people who spend EVERY NYE all alone. Think of all those people who work every time while you celebrate.
For you it was 1 year of abstinence, for them a lifetime.
Maybe next year you’ll invite a poor, disabled or elderly family member or friend to your NYE party. And in that case 202021 has taught us all something.

Niet minder dan 25 000 bezoekers lokte de Elf Fantasy Fair vorig jaar naar Kasteel de Haar wat van deze conventie het grootste fantasyevenement van het Europa maakt. Gedurende één weekend veranderen kasteel en landgoed in het magische land Elfië, vol orc's, tovenaars, draken, ridders, vampieren, elfen en eenoorns. It was during a warm November month in the Osaka -region that I finally started appreciating Autumn and the warmth of it's colours .  This year the extreme drought is giving September the first hint of those same colours. A perfect opportunity to visit the famous Japanese garden of Hasselt and reminisce about those days in Nara with the deer strolling through the parks and streets.. except in Hasselt it weren't deer posing for the cameras but cosplayers.  Yes; this was my weekend number 5 in a row with a costume event. Event - Carnavalstoet Tongeren (2026)

Carnaval in Tongeren valt precies altijd samen met dat in Aalst , het grootste carnavalsfeest van het land, en beide vallen ( de afgelopen jaren ) erg vroeg in het carnavalsseizoen.. zodoende dan kan het al eens gebeuren dat er februarisneeuw valt Voor mij was dit echter de 1e sneeuweditie . Sneeuweditie is misschien een groot woord, de echte sneeuwval begon pas tegen dat de laatste paar praalwagens mijn plekje hadden bereikt, maar voor wie ( vee l) verder op het parkoers stond, zal een een groot deel van de stoet tussen de witte vlokken zijn verlopen. In Nederlands Limburg werden stoeten ingekort, stortten feesttenten in en reden praalwagens zich vast in de sneeuw, maar zo'n vaart liep het hier niet.  Al zijn koude en kans op een gevaarlijk glad, ondergesneeuwd wegdek niet de beste vrienden van lang blijven hangen en flink doorzakken . Omdat iedereen ondertussen weet dat de Death Korps of Krieg op korte tijd de coolste outfit op het Warhammer 40k-slagveld is geworden, willen we jullie het onderstande bericht zeker niet onthouden... Death Korps of Krieg Commissar models. Although of course not actually Krieg soldiers themselves, these Imperial Commissars are outfitted to endure the rigours of the battlefield with their comrades, complete with gas mask and rebreather. The Commissar's role is to instill discipline in the troops and advise their commanders, as well as curb the Death Korps' "enthusiasm" where needed. We have two great Commissar models designed by Simon Egan, the first overseeing his troops is a Commissar on foot who can be built with either a laspistol or power sword (both are supplied) and would make a great addition to any Imperial Guard force. THEY - Q&A April 2008 Question - THEY claims to be a “mystery first-person shooter” for PC, Xbox 360 & PlayStation 3. How do you create this feeling and what sort of techniques are used to provoke this sense of mystery? The story-telling in THEY doesn’t influence the fast paced action of a FPS game – it has dynamic battles, a living environment and those bad creatures you have to kill. But the story has some issues common with plots of mystery movies! After some analyses we figured out that one key element, which transports mystery is the so-called dualism and this is what we will show in THEY. On the one hand you have a real environment, which everybody knows (London) – on the other hand some mysterious phantoms and you don’t know what they are.
