Participate in Designing a Zombie Game
Dead Wake (www.DeadWakeGame.com) zombie survival game's new version beta 3 version is released and available for download.

Dead Wake (www.DeadWakeGame.com) zombie survival game's latest beta version is now available for download. Beta 3 has a little taste of survival horror for zombie fans to try. Gamers are invited to give feedback and participate in the Dead Wake development process.
Dead Wake game has been developed in cooperation with the gamers. In each release, players have given ideas as to what needs to be improved, the development team had used the best advice to improve the game. After 3 beta releases the development team is ready to take the next step: finalising and polishing the Release version so that it is ready to hit the shelves in June 2008. Players can see a release date timer on the DeadWakeGame.com website.
Players are welcomed to vote and give their ideas on how the game should be improved at the Dead Wake community forums (www.DeadWakeGame.com/forums).

Event Report Probleem

Bericht aan iedereen & vooral aan de organisatoren met wie was afgesproken dat er een fotoreportage op hun evenement zou worden gemaakt. De volgende 6 weken zullen er beduidend minder reportages gemaakt kunnen worden omdat onze fotograaf van de tenen tot aan de knie met zijn rechterbeen in het gips zit. A heads-up: on November 17th 2024 we'll be hosting a videobooth on Geek Village ( Thor Central, Genk ) in room 12 ( named Trovao ). It will be the 1st time we put the 360° videobooth on a fair.. so it's somewhere between in between scary & exciting. Collab - D'Ursel cosplay day (2024)

Eventhough many September days in 2024 feel more like November days, on Sunday the 15th it was good to be outside. Outside in the park of castle d'Ursel in Hingene the infamous Geert had gathered yet again a mass of cosplayers & photogs and as always I had hidden my set, this time behind an old wall. No line of sight onto the castle, but perfect for " Cosplayers with natural light " & some " Extreme shoot through ". Why not use the castle as a backdrop, you might ask?  It's a pretty castle, yes. It has one really interesting side, alas it was too crowded to build a set & get a constant, uninterupted view. On a quiet day I'll gladly combine the front of the castle with an epoque gown.. but that Sunday was NOT a quiet day. Do you have 5€ left in your pocket? That's enough to pay the entry fee for this annual gathering of Belgian steampunks. Or is it steampunkers? Or vaporistes? Meh.. Choose whatever you fancy. There are two kind of genre events in the Benelux: The big ones. Nearly all of them are owned by large corporations ( multinationals even ), held in big venues and these have become éxtremely expensive for both visitors and vendors. For the current entry prices you expect to be WOW-ed and entertained at a high level. High expectations are always difficult to meet. And there are a few tiny events trying to stay afloat. Just like for the big events the prices to get something organised have gone through the roof. But they mostly work with volonteers instead of a corporate overhead workforce consisting of more high payed managers than workers and they don't need to bring home truckloads of cash to please the shareholders & investors. It's Maanrock and the combination of a crazy CFX-concert and the Versuz-stage on Friday made SaturDAY a bit shorter than expected.
